We got our pictures taken yesterday. These are Graysen’s 2 year pics and some of our family also. These are the proofs that Holly sent me. I should have the others later tonight. This was the fastest turn around EVER! Holly is AWESOME you can see her work HERE.

What’s she like at 2?

Graysen switched to her big girl bed on the night before her second birthday. This is the day she also used the potty for the first time. She sits at the table but can also sit at the kids table by herself to eat. She eats well.

Her favorites:

Food: Chicken Nuggets and Potpies (French Fries), Lettuce, Cheese Sauce and Tortillas,Green Bean (only with Ketchup) and anything with Chocolate.

Candy: Chocolate

Dessert:  Anything we have, She will randomly ask for Birthday Cake and  Birthday Ice Cream (she is obsessed with Birthday Parties)

Drink: Chocolate Milk (when we let her have it)

Show: Elmo’s Potty Time,or Elmo and Abby’s Birthday

Song: Elmo’s Song

(this is why her birthday was Sesame Street)

Toy: Babies, Tricycle, Car, New Doll House Bed, Kitchen, Color Wonder, Any Books

Favorite Book: She was stuck on the one we got from Sesame Street Live for a while, then Humpty Dumpty, now it’s kind of random

Everything right now is Graysen’s Turn, Graysen do it. She is VERY independent. This is not so great when we are running late in the morning.

Graysen does not want to wake up in the morning. She is very much like John when it comes to trying to wake her up. You can see a video of this below.

Graysens stats:

28 lbs and Tall ( Not sure exactly but she may be tall enough to ride rides at a theme park. )

Graysen’s Awesome New Room and Big Girl Bed!

By , 19 April, 2010, 2 Comments

This is the Headboard

This is the Footboard: Do you see the little Graysen feet?

This is the backside of the Footboard. It has a Magnetic/ Dry Erase Board and a Bookcase. It is serving as an area to hold her dishes that go with her kitchen.

Here is a picture of the whole bed and Graysen is actually asleep in it. Can you find her?

She loves this bed! Thank you Granma Suzy and Grand-dad!

Did I mention that Jerry and Suzy made this bed! They are awesome!

We also moved her kitchen and toys into her room.

She is such a big 2 year old girl!

Also, Graysen used the potty for the first time this weekend. Suzy got some pics with her potty chart so I will have to post those at a later date.

We are so proud!

Graysen had such a great time! She was dressed up as Abby from Sesame Street.

The Incredible Shrinking Woman!

That’s Me!

I am shrinking!! YAY!  As of today I have lost 21.3 lbs. I weight 148 for the first time in I don’t know how long (college maybe).  I still have a few pounds to go but I am way past the halfway point.  I just had to share with everyone because I am super excited.

My favorite low calorie food that I have been eating is tacos. You wouldn’t normally think that tacos are good for you however; if you eat only the hardshell (40-50 calories a piece) then only add 3.5 oz of the leanest ground beef you can find (About 100 cal). You top them with tomatoes (Maybe 10 cal and that is pushing it) and taco bell taco sauce (10 cal per tbsp) then you have some yummy low calorie tacos. I find myself eating these a lot. I also like to break up said taco shells add lettuce and salsa and have taco salad. I am getting hungry just thinking about it.  Other things that have beneficial is our stove top grill to make yummy chicken and asparagus is now my favorite veggie (this is funny because i used to thing it was awful!). My favorite sweets on the diet have been a baked apple with cinnamon and splenda and then strawberry sorbet made with fresh strawberries, splenda and a little lemon juice. YUM!  My favorite no calorie drink is Diet Coke ( no question) but my new love is Coffee (with LOTS of splenda and cream) and Diet Vanilla Creme Soda. Yum Yum. I found the soda on our recent trip to Pops ( a cool stop on Route 66; check it out if you are ever in Oklahoma or in the area) . So where do I go now?  I will keep on my current diet plan till I hit I think around 140ish. I will have to see what I look like when I start getting down there.  Then after that I will keep eating good during the week, eating only at home then if we want to eat out we will get to cheat our healthy diet on the weekend.

So to my dear friend’s bread, chocolate cake, and pasta I will only see you guys maybe once a week and only in a healthier version and quantity. I am sad to see you go but boy do I like being skinny. :)

That is all….

Your friend,

Emily
