Emily Stringer/John Stringer

Awesome: Managing Partner of the I.T. Guys, Techshelter, Sooner Cabeling and Computer Doctor. Wow doesn’t that make him sound super important. He actually owns and operates a computer business with some of our close friends. He’s been making a living for 6 years and we can pay the bills most of the time. Hooray!! If you click on the link on his name it will tell you the background on why I call my husband Awesome. He plays music in his spare time. He’s playing guitar in a band right now but it actually able to play pretty much anything he tries. He’s an amazing singer too. He likes computer games and yes goes to the yearly nerd convention that is Quake Con with his buddies every year.

Emily: I don’t get a link on my name because I’m not cool! I work at Oklahoma Christian University in Planned Giving. I love my job! For fun I love to cook, bake and take pictures of my kid. I’m not a real photographer and actually all my photos are taken with my iPhone. It does pull out some pretty good shots every once in a while however. I love event planning and anything that is artsy or crafty. I can paint but haven’t in some time because I love playing with Graysen more. I hate cleaning and I hate laundry and those things never end at my house.

Graysen: I can’t believe she is two already! She is hilarious and talks non stop. Her favorite food is pancakes and she loves numbers, colors, shapes and her ABC’s we work with her a lot and she is doing great. Her favorite thing to do is play with the Doll house that her Grandparents made for her. She also loves playing with and feeding our dogs Pepper and Salty. Graysen is already 3 feet tall.

Lilly: Our Little Foster Girl- Lilly was with us for over a year. We love her and miss her. She has been back home with her parents for over 2 years now but they still keep in contact with us and let us see her. Occasionally you will see pictures of her on our blog!

We also had four other foster children but we do not get to see them and have no idea where they are or what they are up to. We just pray that God stays with them on their journey!

Pepper: Spoiled Rotten!!!!!!!! That says it all! Pepper is going on 6 years old. Pepper is scared of our backyard! She is scared of EVERYTHING! She thinks she is a person. She crawls up in our bed in the early morning hours and then steals the covers and even lays with her head on our pillow.

Salty Dog: Salty is 2 years old and is  kinda  very crazy. She loves playing outside in the backyard. She is crazy hyper and loves attention! Her favorite thing to do is try to bite at the water when it is coming out of the sprayer on the water hose.

Our dogs are completely different but fun in their own way.

We live on a ranch in southern Colorado, oh wait that’s our dream. Reality we live in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma right in the middle of busy city life and boy can we feel the effects.
