The Mrs. Oklahoma Pageant
Here are some photos from the Mrs. Oklahoma pageant. I had a great time! Congrats to Megan Murray the new Mrs. Oklahoma 2011.
Evening Gown:

Overall it was a great experience. My family and friends took me to eat Mexican food after the pageant. I was starving!! Thank you to everyone who supported me throughout this endeavor!
Interview
Wow, that was incredibly scary but good. I did very well and I feel the judges really now have a sense of who I am and why I am doing this. My makeup is done and my hair is big. I’m perfectly ready for the pageant. I am excited to see what God’s going to do with me. Wish me luck!!

Rehersals
Rehearsals have been fun today. It’s not often you dance around all day in heels. I am excited about tomorrow but it is crazy to think that the pageant is tomorrow and by this time tomorrow night there will be a newly crowned Mrs. Oklahoma! Wow! All of the girls are very nice. Some are models so this is a little intimidating. I am very normal. Happily size 6 (this is a huge accomplishment for me). Size 6 unlike some of the others that have to be a size 2 or so. The experience has been amazing and has really gotten me out of my shell. I am just going to enjoy being Mrs. OKC and who knows maybe tomorrow I will have another title. You can never tell what God has planned!!! Here is a pic of me after the craziness of today. I’m a bit worn out I must admit! Goodnight. Results tomorrow!

Mrs. Oklahoma City 2011 Photos
The lovely and talented Holly Austin at Holly Austin Photography recently took photos of me. The wonderful Lilly Stone from Sooo Lilly Cosmetics did my makeup ( She is amazing and so is her makeup!) and Meagan from A Wild Hair did my hair. I thought the photos turned out great. I was pleased! Enjoy:

I made cupcakes for my sis for her birthday. I thought they turned out pretty good. At least I know if I lose the pageant I can maybe become a baker instead. 
Tonight I went to the store to get all my pageant secrets. I got a few weird looks. I also tried Tan in a bottle. It actually works with no streaking, who knew? Its pretty gross to put on. It is basically dark brown tinted lotion. Well enjoy the photo of the cupcakes. It will make you hungry!
