TWAS THE NIGHT OF THANKSGIVING

‘Twas the  night of Thanksgiving, but I just couldn’t sleep.
I tried counting  backwards, I tried counting sheep.
The leftovers beckoned – the dark meat  and white,
But I fought the temptation with all of my might.
Tossing and  turning with anticipation,
The thought of a snack became infatuation.
So, I raced to the kitchen, flung open the door
And gazed at the fridge,  full of goodies galore.
I gobbled up turkey and buttered potatoes,
Pickles and carrots, beans and tomatoes.
I felt myself swelling so plump  and so round,
‘Til all of a sudden, I rose off the ground.
I crashed  through the ceiling, floating into the sky,
With a mouthful of pudding and a  handful of pie.
But, I managed to yell as I soared past the trees….
Happy eating to all, pass the cranberries, please.
May your stuffing be  tasty, your turkey be plump.
Your potatoes ‘n gravy have nary a lump.
May your yams be delicious, your pies take the prize.
May your  Thanksgiving dinner stay off of your thighs.

We had a fun weekend. We had Poker night on Saturday since we are leaving for Thanksgiving tomorrow. We also went to a friends little girls birthday party (Lauryn) . I especially love those pictures because in all the pictures Graysen took with the friends they are all looking at the camera and Graysen is looking at them. We had a fun time.

Well Amber sent me an email Kaitlyn was born on Monday 11-17-08 and came in weighing 7lbs and she was 18 and 3/4 inches long! Congrats Guys!

Lilly came to visit us last night! We enjoyed seeing her. Her parents probally think i am crazy because i always take pictures of her as soon as they bring her in the door! HEHE!

Last night John’s Uncle Johnny came to visit us from California. He was passing through when he was heading back. Here are some pics from last night. Also, he bought Graysen the cutest little Christmas outfits. I can’t wait to put them on her.

This morning Graysen slept in with daddy and then he took her to Amy’s house. I had a work Thanksgiving breakfast this morning so i didn’t get to take pics of Graysen this morning so John sent me some when she woke up.

Also, Graysen will be getting a new friend soon. NO I’m not pregnant!  My friend Rachel from work is making her a cute square pillow like this one below…

I can see Graysen when she is older swinging this thing around by it’s arm. I can’t wait to see it.

Last night we went to get some food. Graysen is so big she was eating a little rice bar. She seemed to like it alot. Wow, kids grow so fast.

Then daddy decided to put pepper in a box.  Box of Pepper, haha daddy very funny!

Then John the kid put himself in the box too.
